6 places are guaranteed for away supporters but occasionally further places can be found on the day.

07967 44 00 62

The telephone number is in the match day programme

The staff in the County reception could give it to you too.

If you have problems please do not hesitate in asking the staff to ask for myself or one of my colleagues to come to the reception as we are at every home match to help solve problems. We are available all through the match too.

As there have been many problems nationally with people abusing the system and claiming to be disabled and even using other family members orange badges, it was decided that disabled people should show their benefit  booklet or other form of identity to claim their concessionary ticket. This is with all clubs in the country and not just at Stockport County. This is far from ideal as other supporters do not have to do this.

If you would prefer to show this identity to myself rather than a member of the office staff please give us a ring and it can be arranged.

  • Match days

  •

  • Supporters who have problems on match days must tell us there and then if we are to have most effect. However sometimes we cannot work miracles!

  • Edgeley Park is a public ground and therefore open to all.

  • Pitch side

Tear off slip  to be put on the next supporters letter to see if there is still an interest in producing a magazine or news letter.

If there is a positive response then others are to be recruited into helping.

    Web

Is the web sit to become an information only site? This will be a tear off slip question.

    Recruitment

We are giving out information about SCDSC in different forms after Christmas working with Mike Sith in the Community Department  at Stockport County who will be working with groups and schools in the area.

It has been suggested that we have a gap in the 40/55 age group and need to target these people. People are to try and come up with ideas for this.

Two support workers are to use their contact with Gateway to pass information.

    Fundraising

    Club

Supporters are to try and think of something original for a fund raiser for the season for next meeting. Sponsored events were discussed. James and Carl are to do a sponsored silence at Huddersfield away or Northampton at home are the suggested dates.

Tony wants to do a sponsored swim.

We are to try and get Booth Street Depot for a car boot venue or our car park if not.

Other groups are now raising funds for us at events which we are to attend.

    Bus

We cannot survive on continually trying to find sponsorship. There is little space now on the bus for adverts. Gorvin Smith Fort have 1 year left on the original deal.

We need to make others more aware of the bus and dates travelling. More people on trips shares the cost and brings in more maintenance money.

The programme is not purchased by many disabled supporters.

Ken Boxall can announce our trips

Jon Keirghan can advertise forth coming trips on Imagine for us.

Get the Hatters to encourage disabled supporters to travel with us.

Ask Hatters Bobby Peel, Fingerpost etc to give our details for those that they cannot transport when over subscribed.

    Club nights

Supporters suggested that we make each Club night more inviting now and have themed nights + the normal bar and chatting. eg  Karaoke Night! Asked to ring Eddie for the info etc on them. Other ideas were a Playstation Challenge  [not football] A boccia type completion A Directors night. Plans to be produced for the next meeting. A Race Night was dismissed due to the small profit and tremendous work load before the night.

    Christmas Party Night

Told of plans so far eg

    Eddie Nuttall to entertain

Christmas Buffet to cost £100 .

Ticketing was explained and given out to those present.

Invitations are to go to all members not seen for ages

Invites sent to players and some ex players.

Advertise in the Stockport Express. Ken Boxall,  Imagine, The other supporters groups, posters

     Meeting finished at 1.45 pm
